Can someone please explain how Ford/SVT just keeps ****ing up?

    September 2002 issue of Car And Driver, an article called "Hot Tin Roofs".. tested a 2002 Mustang GT 5-spd to 15.1 in the 1/4 mile.. it was a coupe, not 'vert.. terrible drivers :nonono:

    it was weird in the car and driver issue featuring the GT500 vs the vette, they said the redline was 6,000 rpms, i bet they were mistaken and didnt rev it to 6,500rpms like they did the 03 cobra, why would the forged bottom end 5.4 be restrained to only 6,000 rpm, i think larry webster(aka c&d vette lover) came up with the idea of shifting at 6k on purpose, i doubt ford told them this was where the rev limiter was at!!
    Oh and road and track magazine shifted to 6,250 rpms, I thought that was weird too.
