Hey guys i want to know which way would u guys choose... i plan on either getting new gears with t-lok or new suspension. If i choose to go for gears and tlok...i was thinking of buying a new 8.8 rear end with 3.73 gears already with it for 750$.... and if i choose to go the suspension direction, i was going to go by a tokico illumina 5 way adjustable shocks and struts with eibachs and would go for abpout 750$ as well...so guys help me choose...give me some pros and cons for both so it will help me decide better... thanx

well just my $.02 but here it goes.

I say go with the suspension first. Unless your addin a lot of ponies you can wait on the rear end. But suspension should be one of the first things that you do to your car.

As for the rear end though, i say forget about the 8.8 go get a good 9 bolt, much stronger and more reliable.

Unless you're running over 300 hp out of your 6 you're not going to WANT a 9". They are substantially heavier, especially in rotational mass = parasitic loss = less power at wheels / increased fuel consumption. Get the 8.8 with some kind of locker (torsen worm gear diffs are good in my mind) and gears.

I'd go with suspension, you won't need the rear end really unless you're pushing a lot of horsepower and torque. Stick with 7.5in unless you plan on putting more than 300hp in there like Route666 said. But if you do want more than 300hp, go with a supercharger :D
