WHY? b/c when its really cold, the engine in our cars run real right and have more SOTP power to them. And the car spins tires easier. I remember last winter i would nail it in 2nd and spin the tires, and could get squally with a hard shift to 3rd lol. once summer cam and got real hot. the car wouldnt do that stuff anymore. when i did the engine swap. The new engine on a super hot 100+ summer day would spin them and get more out of control than the old engine did on a freezing winter day! i cant wait to see whats its got this winter lol....
we dont usually get snow here, just gets super cold. but one time last winter it snowed. my car is my dd so i HAD to drive it. I had some BALD tires and had a HARD time getting on to main street, just a little incline. must have been funny to have seen.... big ol beastly mustang struggling to get on the road.
I drove my 5.0 in a storm where we had 12+ inches of snow. I was on an unplowed road that runs around our campus... Everyone was out because we had the day off (rare for a new england college) and you should have seen the people cheering and clapping when I tried going around the school... Definately fun till I got stuck in a lot with a good 15-16" of snow!
