i have a 2000 v6 procharged 5 speed, well i was probably going 40ish in 3rd going down the rainy a$$ highway, and it started shaking like maybe i was going to slow for 3rd so i droped it to 2nd and it shook as well and then it just shut off and my check engine light popped on, then when i would restart it, it would try and turn over then when i would give it gas it would finally turn over, then it would rev up when i hit the gas but it would die down and kinda hover around 800-1000 rpms then it would die again...whats going on? we are gonna look at it tomorrow and see, but i was just asking on here to get an idea on what to look for

Sounds like the computer when wacky on u. Your computer might have set its self to "safe" mod which is not good when u have a SC car. I doubt the chip you have has a safe mode for the supercharger so your air/fuel ratios have gone to crap. Probably need to disconnect power to your car by removing battery and let sit for like 15 minutes then reconnect. That could just be one problem....who knows though...

check your mass air sensor, it happened to mine after ommitting to add the mass air sensor , so check the wiring and make sure it isnt loose at all

my roomate has a shop guy, i went to him, he hooked it up to this computer thing, and my driver side front o2 sensor was bad, and the pcv valve was bad, it the rain lets up ill go out there and change all that, but so far that looks to maybe have been the problem

Your maf probably got water soaked. Where is your filter located? Try removing the maf and drying it out. Same exact thing happened to me a long time ago.

makes sense, cause its been pouring here and it was raining hard when it died cause of the SC the filter is in the fender, i could see water getting all in it, its been sitting a few days so its dried out and all, it starts right up when u start it now, so i assume everything is alright

yeah but everything could not be alright and next time this happens it could be a lot worse...I'd take it in somewhere to get it checked out, even if it'll cost a little now it may save u a lot later on

i already have, and the computer showed the o2 sensor in the front getting to much voltage, so im changing that out as well as i changed out the pcv valve, the wires are connected good on my MAF as well as its been sitting awhile so the water has dried out
