these gas prices were killing me, so i traded my 600 speed demon double pumper in for a remanufactured edelbrock 1400 ( the leaned out version). ive think ive already saved 5 dollars in gas. i figgure it will pay for itself in 8-10 months. its not slow either, at full throttle, but at part throttle it feels weaker. one i get the elec. choke hooked up it will run perfectly, out of the box. and i will keep the demon so i can put it back on if i have some money burning a hole in my pocket and go to the track
