Maybe some of y'all that've had a candy apple for a while can tell me what is the best wax or protectant you've found for use on your car and how often you use it. My wife has an 010 and it'll be up to me to keep it up. I also had some questions about the black exterior trim I have an 03 escap bought with .8 miles and have had no real luck with the black trim?!?

Mothers back to black is a good product for the black trim. Turtle wax ice isn't the best wax but it's the easiest to use and not have to worry about white pasting black parts.

Yeah the Ice is nice and easy. Also keeps stuff from sticking to your paint. It's not a cleaner tho. :)

You're going to hear a hundred different answers. Join autopia.org and listen to what they say--they detail cars all day long and know waxes and sealants better than car enthusiasts would.
