Ok well I have been trying to figure some tech information on the GT forums for a friend and I stumbled upon a forum that said that on the GT and Mach1 and what not you could hollow the cats nearest to the headers and not trip the cats since those are the warm-up cats. Is this also true for our cars?

    Yeah you could in theory?

But why would you really want to do that?

Just put on an O/R pipe and get some MIL eliminators or get the CEL turned off with an engine tune?

Well there is no emmisions test here so I am not worried about that, but since i can empty the ones nearest the headers without tripping the CEL light guess what. ITS TIME TO DO IT!!:D :D :D
