:bang: ok... i cant remove the plastic centercaps from the wheels on my 04... the ones on the 98 that i had were metal, and were easily removed... but i've tried everything to get the damn things off of the rims without messing them up. anyone know of an effective method of going about this?

any help would be mightily appreciated.

If so you're going to have one spot where theres a little indention. just take the end of your lug wrench and pry it off slightly then go all around the center cap and dont do it any more than it will take to get your prying tool on to the next part and then it will just pop off.

tried that, the center cap doesnt move, it just bends outward farther and farther with no sign of budging.

with the afforementioned 98 they were easy to remove, being made of metal, these plastic ones are proving themselves to be quite the conundrum. If i knew the part of the wheel surrounding the lugs was the same color as the rest of the wheel, i wouldnt care, and would just proceed to forcibly remove the lug covers and pay no mind to breaking them if necessary.

this is the wheel style btw: http://i20.ebayimg.com/01/i/02/3e/b2/10_1_b.JPG

Meh... i'm thinking of getting a set of the 5 spoke torque thrust wheels anyway...
anyone know how much they run?

oh thats it? just put the little pry bar under that lip and push hard...it pops out theres a little metal spring inside which is exerting outward pressure on all the little pins in there which hold it in place. that one's easy.
