I went to the store yesterday and picked up a case of Valvoline and a couple of filters. I can't belive it, but it set me back over $45.00... granted I did not shop around for price comparisons. But the darn case of oil was over $30.00! I can't belive I am spending over $20.00 each time I change my own oil! :bang:

    Just venting

And the oil isn't even for the Mustang... it's for my daily driver.

Wow! I'm glad I don't shop where you guys shop!

My last oil change on the DD F150 4x4:
1.5 Gallon jug of Mobil 1 "Truck & RV" 5W30 from Wally World: $21
Motorcraft FL820 Oil filter (Checker Auto): $6
    Fram "Air Hog" filter: $13

Yeah it's $40 (actually $39-something - I "rounded up"); but I bought 6 qts of not quite the least expensive oil out there and a pricey air filter!
The cool part is, next week I'm gonna buy another quart of oil and $6 oil filter; and run it another 3k.

Gee, for a little under $20 with a coupon you could have gone to Jiffy Lube or Grease Monkey and had it done for you.:D
