cheep mustang!

    so i want to see how much HP i can get out of my car with cheaper upgrades. some thing like a home made cold air or just an cheap one on ebay. and maybe an electric supercharger. ( plz don't flam i know its a bad idea) but do's any one have any idea?? and my spending limit is like 500 buck tops on a parts...

    Anyway...if all you've got is $500? Save it.

    #1, Electric superchargers are junk.

    #2, you won't be able to do much with $500.

    Spend it on some suspension upgrades if you really want to spend it. Otherwise it might buy you 1 or 2 hp.

    Craigslist it. With my mustang and $500 i went on craigslist and found a used aem cold air intake for 75 bux, shorty headers (used) $120, aluminum driveshaft $120, and various other things for cheap. You just have to be patient and look around. Try posting a wanted ad on there also for what you want, thats if you dont mind used parts.

    k sweet the helps me out a lot 85sv0guy thx. and my limit is not 500 buck. i dont want to spend 500 buck or more on just one part i want it under that...

    like i could buy a part thats 300 then buy something else for like 400 or what ever. i know 500 wont get me far lol

    well if u can find a laid up TC for a cheap price then u can have a 2.3T and u will ahve a lot more power

    once u get a TC motor and computer u can port the head a little port the lower intake and gutt and rotate the upper for more power

    hahaha i some what thought that what is was. but i don't want to swape out my motor again i just fin doing it with my MR-2 lol unless there is some way i can put a turbo on with getting a new block and make a little bosst
