Looking at new rims. What's the big difference cosmetically between Chrome and Polished rims? And are there advantages between one or the other?

Chrome is going to be alot less time in maintaining the shine.

Polished (aluminum??) is going to be more of a silver/grey color and the chrome is going to be ...well chrome colored.

I have to second the distain for the bling bling of chrome. Chrome is also quite a bit heavier than polished aluminum. To me polished or machined aluminim=performance, chrome=looks. Guess it depends on what you are after.
