I need to find classic insurance for a 67 but have the minor problem of a DWI on my record. One night of stupidity is screwing me now. Anyone know of an insurance company that will give me classic insurnace? I am getting turned down everywhere I call. Any help would be appreciated.

Have you tried taking defensive driving driving classes or whatever to get it erased?

First, it happened in New York and I now live in california. Second, it would take the points off but the arrest would still be on my DMV record even though by the time I was done I had it down to a "driving while ability impared". A violation. I actually just put the car as a second car on my regular insurance with collision for $116 a year. Not bad.

Not bad at all. But if you wreck the classic youll still get screwed by your insurance, and their insurance.

I figured if I wreck it that bad it would be totaled anyway. And I am used to getting screwed by insurance companys, think it would happen one way or the other
