my 2001 cobra is needing a new clutch too. i went out of town for 2 weeks and my dad tried to teach my brother how to drive it and it is deffinately not working right, i have to slam it hard all the way down and sometimes it still wont disconnect all the way to allow me to switch gears. this means i need a new one right? can i do it myself or call the dealership to put a new factory one in it?

DFX makes a nice one for the 03-04' cobra, not sure about your year though. Do you have an aftermarket clutch quadrant/firewall adjuster??? That may help.:D Unless you are familiar with or have done a clutch install before I would leave it up to the pro's.

Go with a Spec clutch. They are the best.
