Hey Guys, Have a question I've been wondering for a long time and never really got an answer I'm looking for. Which is a better stang, a saleen or a cobra. I mean which one is meaner and more powerful, between the years of 94-04. Your info will determine on which one I'll get, for I like them both. Power will be the tie breaker.:SNSign:
A saleen is basically a GT with a bodykit and rims and some suspension unless you get one of the S/C'd ones which are quite nice but its still a 2v engine. The cobras are nice because they run a 4v and have much more power and I believe the better buy. Not sure what year your going after but the best stang out for 96-04 is a 03/04 Cobra...forged bottom end 4v and supercharged with a T-56 6 speed. That is what i will be buying Saleen is more for looks and they do look nice But in the end 4v>2v
Agree with dope97GT, all you're getting with a saleen is body kits and a name... if you want power go with a Cobra... I'm selling my '03... 460+ RWHP : ) and if you get a stock one, it doesn't take much to get a lot of power! overall... Cobra wins
Unless of course you can find and afford a S351 Saleen - the most expensive and collectable 94-07 Mustang in the world - hands down - even compared to the new Shelby that has just been released. As well, the Saleen Extremes are very nice and very fast. Not quite as powerful as a 03-04 Cobra, but still very powerful. As far as looks are concerned. I have had about 7 Mustangs in the last 10 years and you simply cannot beat the street appeal of a Saleen Convertible with the speedster cover. One of the nicest cars in the world. The 03-04 Cobras look like a family sports car compared to the Saleen.
Wow are you serious!! Those were the best ones that you could get!! That was a dumb move if yea ask me. But yea they are definatly the best and very sweet rides..
