    Whats up all...

The time has come to go ahead and get a new CAI system to make my baby fly. I am focused on performance gain more than anything else. I have done some research and it seems that the C&L and JTL are the two best choices. However, I know that our new stangs are picky as far as the computers go. So my question is how involved in the Custom packages that we need...

Do you have to have the tuner that goes along with the CAI, or are you able to go to your local mustang dealer and pay them some cash to flash your computer? Will dealers or mechanics be able to give your car a 'one time' flash, or is it necessary to buy the $300 + tuners?

If you need a purchase a tuner, any recommendations on the cheapest way to go with one?

    Help me out guys

You will need a tune with the C&L or JLT.

Here's my results: 12.907 @ 104.87 mph with Race C&L, factory air box with a performance tune, 13.241 @ 103.19 mph. These were back to back passes.

My mods for my 06 automatic are the SCT Pro Racer tuner, Granatelli radiator support, Power House aluminum driveshaft, CMCV deletes, MRT catted H pipe, an ASP underdrive pulley and an Addco rear anti-sway bar.

I have the stock 3.31 gears, torque converter, exhaust manifolds, mufflers, tail pipes and tires.

Get the SCT Pro and I can help you with the tune on the Race C&L.
