Ok, here goes. I'm looking at doing a major upgrade to my engine. The shop that will perform the work has a very high reputation on the Mustang forums and has performed previous work on my Mustang. I live in Cincinnati, so you can probably figure out who it is.

Twisted Wedge cylinder heads, camshaft, push rods, gaskets, fuel injectors, mass air meter, fluids, labor, dyne and custom tune with chip: $5300.

Let me know your opinions. Oh, and before anyone says "just install it yourself", that isn't happening...based on my available time and lack of mechanical abilities.

Just to be clear, that price above includes ALL of the listed parts AND labor, correct?

Have you asked other comparable niche shops in the region (there's a few just north of you here in MI) as well for a quote just to see how your local shop compares?

Of course, you'll have to factor driving time/trailering it up/fuel costs, etc so it might be a wash...
