Before you go nailing me with headswaps, I've thought about it. I want to try cams first and see what I get. I'm staying N/A and currently have the mods in my sig. Both cams have stock lift and shouldn't require new springs if I'm correct.

It's $500 +/-$100 and doing all the labor myself vs. $1200 PnP + cams and paying for labor. I may even get a break from the local shop since they really want to see what I can get N/A with a pre-99 GT. I'll probably do all that stuff eventually anyway but I think it'd be much easier to sneak $600 past my fiancee vs. $2500. She'd definitely notice that if she happened to glance at one of my statements...and it would be out of commission for longer. Then I would be out of commission too.

The Comps I'm torn between are:
    XE268H - 230/236 @ .050"
    and
    XE274H - 236/240 @ .050"

4.10s and a tune would come immediately after of course.

Yes. Both of them are @.500 lift. Should be drop-ins for NPIs.

Well after the install you may have to head right to the dyno for a tune or your car may not be very drivable. Call Comp and see what they reccomend. I would go with the more agressive cam. At least their stage II for pre 99's

I'd save money for the headswap.
