compressor for AC unit on a 94 cobra.......

    Does anyone know How much a compressor is for a 94 cobra? I have a friend how is thinking about buying a 94 cobra and the compressor is bad. ANYONE?????????? :shrug:

    You don't usually find a car that needs just a compressor. If it broke, it probably scattered metal in the lines and the other a/c parts.

    I'd budget $1000 and would be happy if it was cheaper. :shrug:
