Heres the story.... I put a water temp gauge in my pod so i just replaced the factory coolant temp switch with the sender for the gauge. The problem is that the factory sensor also helps to control A/F. What do I need to do? There must be a way to add a coolant temp gauge and I guess I did it the wrong way? Anybody got help?

PS-It runs pretty rich and that is probably the reason....

Did you take the coolant sensor out of the lower intake manifold? If so, you removed the wrong one. The sender for the factory gauge is on the side of the block a little ways below the lower intake, THAT's what you need to remove to install the sender for your gauge.

If you intend to have both gauges functional you can install a T fitting and have both on one port

oh and I'm wondering, where is the knock sensor? There's a sender in the back of the side of the head for oil pressure and, near that, one in the back of the side of the block for coolant temp right?
