I just purchased a 2003 Mustang and the rear end is making noise. Has anyone had the differential rebuilt in their Mustang. What have you paid for a rebulid. I'm assuming I will need to replace the cone bearings and races in the differential, the axels, and the wheel bearings.

Anyone know of a shop in Ventura California that they would recommend.

    Thanks

I just had the same thing done..somewhat. My left rear wheel was ticking and i ended up just replacing the whole rear end. I replaced it w/ another stock V6 rearend w/o upgradign at all. The new one was out of an 04 w/ 20K miles on it. Cost me about 945 installed.
