not sure what your area is like, but we have a local guy we call "Muffler Dan" who does excellent mandrel bent custom exhaust work. He ran a true-dual setup with a dual in-dual out flowmaster under my buddies old MN12 1994 T-Bird. 3.8 V6 no less. Came out really nice and sounded even better. Check out what prospects for somethin like that are like near you

Here are some exhaust set-ups for him to check out. http://www.tccoa.com/articles/exhaust/index.html#
I'm going with a Magnaflow custom true dual set up from the headers back with my '96 XR7....the part numbers for the cats, and mufflers are as follows....

    12468, 11226, 10716, 94036

Check out Parts Shopper for the parts. They boast the lowest price on Magnaflow components of anyone.

Tell him to Join the Forum over at www.tccoa.com for further suggestions.

he was wanting to replace the ones he has with the high flow. he has already put flowmasters on it but i think he is just going to replace with a factory one. his cats started to go bad a few weeks ago.

Tell him magnaflow makes a hight flow replacment for the stock 2-1 resonator after the cats as well. If he insists with sticking to the Flowmaster stuff, they make one as well (PN Flo-15100)

Another great way to improve flow and sound on an MN12. :)
