I've begun the process of re-doing my interior by having some custom seat covers made up. These are standard V6 cloth covers with the addition of some red Shelby GT500 inspired pleated panels. (3" pleats to be exact) The material is a tough, perforated leather-like vinyl with a high wear rating. The color of these pictures is a little off register - its a deeper color than these indicate ... http://www.imagestation.com/picture/sraid206/p6fb6371a8e8bf62e6de068595b963004/eee9b402.jpg More work is planned . . . .
Thanks - but the actual work to disassemble and reassemble the ft seats is extensive! Not to mention the cost to get the insert work accomplished professionally ... It took the better part of the day today and I'm plum wore out (wheew!)
Those are nice! How much did that set u back? I plan on waiting till the originals get worn down or really damaged.
i had a quote from a local upholstery shop for red leather inserts in my leather front seats ONLY. $300 materials, and $300 labor!!
