When I recently did the install of my shocks/struts, I did not use a torque wrench. I bolted down the bolts using wrenches until they were tight.

I just want to make sure that this is not bad. What could happen if I did not tighten them enough or if they are to tight?

    Thanks guys.

No impact? I'd be checking that crap.

It is unlikely that anything bad would happen, but since you already spent so much time putting the stuff in it would make sense to take the extra hour to make sure it's done right. It would probably make you feel better about it anyways. Torque wrenches aren't that expensive if you don't already have one.

Well, I used the impact gun but put it on a very light setting. Ive been checking it periodically and everything seems tight still.

You can get a pretty good Tq. wrench from sears for like $100...
