Good bit of difference in the price of a new pad ($350) vs. the covers ($70) for a 69. If you repaired your dash pad with a cover, were you satisfied with the end result or did you wish you just spent the extra $ and got the Ford tooling one? Somehow, I think I know the answer by looking at the price...

You get what you pay for.

Had my dash repaired with a cover and it looked decent for about a year before it started to buckle and warp. I eventually had the cover removed and the whole dash re-upholstered to match my interior.

Covers are not the way to go, IMO.

I like my dash cover. It's been installed for 4 years now with no obvious defects.
