Hey guys I have been trying to buy an 05 now since the end of Oct. with no luck. World Ford of Kendall in Miami was the only dealer who said they would sell me a in stock car at x plan. So this morning while at work I get a call from world ford saying they have a black on black gt that just arrived. So I set up an apointment for 5:00 pm. I arrive at the dealer at 5 the salesman I spoke to on the phone was selling a car so he gives me another salesman. New salesperson says the black car is sold. No biggie to me, they had a silver gt on the lot that I liked better. So I was like work me out a deal trading my 03 gt on the new car. At this point the sales guy was let me talk to my manager and make sure you can use the x plan . Salesman comes back to me a few min later sorry we cannot offer x plan on the gt only on the v6. I was like okay the max I'll pay is 500 over invoice. A few min. later the salesman comes with the general manager who said the best he could do on the car is 1,000 over msrp. I was pissed off at this point they were using the old switch and bait not cool at at all. So I was like I don't care what you charge for the car I will never pay msrp or over sticker for a car. The problem is first I was on their list as a xplan customer, then they called me knowing I was an x plan customer, and the salesman on the phone telling me about the car on the phone confirmed selling the car at x plan price and finally when I get thier the black car was sold. The general manager offered me a free tank of gas when I left. I was like keep the gas to the salesman. Everyone here don't ever buy a vehicle off of world ford kendall. :notnice:

Does anyone here know where I can get a deal of either x plan or 500 over invoice in south Florida on a GT? Also, a good trade in value for a 03 gt premium auto fully loaded. I owe 16,700.

At this point I don't know what do I am really discouraged by the whole situation. At this point it looks like I will not buy one.

Just wait a couple months. Before we know it, the market will be flooded with Mustangs and all this BS will be behind us.

I buy over the internet after hitting a brick wall with lot salesmen. That's how I bought my 03 GT. When I got a decent deal over the internet the salesmen were begging to give me a better deal. You should check into

    edmunds.com

    carsdirect.com

or some other internet based company. They will find your car and have it shipped to your local dealership. Won't hurt to look into this. It worked for me last year and ten years ago with my 93 Camaro when they were marking them up $600 over sticker. I used a company called "Cars by phone" back then and got it for sticker price. Use your brain and you just may find your way around the aggrivation of dealing with greedy dealerships. Stop with the :bang: and try it. Worked for me. I am not sure if they have changed the system but I dealt with carsdirect salesmen who located the vehicle and made the deal with me. Hope they haven't changed anything.

Yea, most dealer sales people will tell you ANYTHING to get you in the door, hoping they can close the deal.

Find another dealer or have some patience. In a few months they will be begging you to buy a GT on X plan.

    Some dealers do suck

Yes! There is a dealer in Coral Springs that was extremely helpful to me. My mineral gray love was born December 13th and is to arrive the week of December 27. The salesman showed me their expected inventory list and I was able to choose the one that I wanted. I put money down on it and when it arrives, it is mine.

Call Sawgrass Ford at 954-851-9048, ask for Franklin and tell him the "nice lady from Alabama" sent you.

    Good luck.
