i installed a aftermarket sub and amp in my 01 mustang (mach 460 system) and the head unit randomly shuts off? does the unit have some sort of safe mode if its pushed to hard, or is some type of fuse blown or capacitor needed? its fairly random when it shuts off, and before i had the amp and sub hooked up it shut off while it wasnt being pushed to hard, so yeah....any help would be nice.
    thanks

the deck is only being used as a turn on lead/signal, the amp is pulling all power from the battery, and the deck is being powered by the alternator im pretty sure. is the deck just a piece or is it going in safe mode you think?

    thanks
