Nah, it's all worked out. I decided to get rid of the black car anyway, due to not being able to daily drive it.

And nope, I'm either keeping the 04 Cobra's on it now, or puttin some satin Saleens on it.. I'm never happy leaving stuff alone. :nice:

Well here's the deal.. I built that black car for more of a track car than anything, so I deleted heat, A/C, sound deadner etc, and now that it's winter, it takes a couple minutes to get the car warmed up to where it runs normal (non-choked race carb will do that) and I don't have more money to put stuff back on to make it a little more comfortable to drive. I'm know other people have done similar things before.. overbuilding a car, and regretting it. I'll miss that black car like nothing, but I decided I'd better get a good all around car. Not a $16,000 yard ornament.

As far as the Cobra, I paid $9,700. The current owner had to bail out of a loan, and really didn't know a whole lot about the car, so I'm taking over payments. I'll be paying for the car by parting out my 347 car.

fair enough. i hope i am not in the process of over-building my car right now.

best of luck to you, and i hope you find the insurance payments acceptable.

does your father have the same rule with this one as he did with the 347?

Sounds very similar to a buddy of mines old '96 cobra. Forged, s-trim, 440 rwhp, and everything in the Griggs catalog. Was definitely a fun car.
