Well, as you may recall I replaced the stock exhuast on my 2010 GT with the Roush exhaust which was too loud for my ears. I brought it back to Healey Ford in Goshen, NY and they found a buyer for me and put the old exhaust back on for free. Today my new Magnaflows that Healey ordered for me came in and they installed them for FREE! They said it was because I was not happy with the Roush although it wasn't Healey's fault. They have a great service dept!

Anyway the new axle backs are on and I video taped it in the driveway. Tomorrow, if we dont get snow(!), I will video tape driving around like I did with the Roush to document the difference in sound.

The Magnaflows I put on are pn 16574, the more agressive soundiing muffler. They also sell the quieter 16573

How much did you get for your used Roush AB? Break even? Good to hear the mag's work for you.

hello, im new here. I just bought a 2010 Mustang GT yesterday and love it so far. Im about to go wash it now...I had to drive it 2XX miles home from the dealership. I just posted a comment on youtube for you. They both sound great, I do like and prefer your current setup better. Im glad you like it and it sounds great. Now get a clip of it rolling with the motor under load!

The Magnaflow axlebacks were an even swap for the Roush. The Roush price was $468 and the Magnaflows are around $450. Considering the dealership didn't charge me anything to put the old exhaust on and to take it off again to put the Magnaflows on, I think I got an excellent deal. PTL!

Believe me, I want to take a video from inside and drivebys but working 12 hour days 4 days this week has stopped me from doing it till Sunday. Assuming Sunday we dont get rain or snow, I'll take it out for those videos and post ASAP. After all, "I" want to hear how it sounds from the curb to!

They both sound pretty good to me. The Roush are a bit louder which would be my choice. Which Magnaflow model is the most agressive? I like it loud.

The Magnaflow that I have, pn 16574, are the more aggressvie sound. The pn 16573, which looks more like the stock Ford muffler, are quieter.

When I talked to Magnaflow they reminded me that it takes 500-600 miles for the mufflers to break in; they will get louder after breakin because the packing in the mufflers getrs harder and doesn't absorb the sound as much.

OK, got some good weather and time to take some vidoes.

The videos below are the two systems at idle and from inside the car going over the same route. I also posted a drive-by video of the Magnaflows which includes a peel out. This I think is my final exhaust mod. Next I need to attack the wheel hop problem.

Car is stock except for a K&N air filter, Magnaflow mufflers and Brenspeed 93 octant tune.

I have the same magnaflow and have nothing but good things to say, my brother got his from ebay but I wanted a valid warranty(I have had problems with ebay sellers before) so I got it here. Magnaflow 16574, or you can try one of the vendors here on the forum selling Magnaflow Exhaust, Magnaflow Muffler, Magnaflow Catalytic Converter, they are allways having sales/specials on the forums. It is nicely built and sounds great I think.

ok, so these are the "louder" of the magnaflows, is it too loud?
    is there drone?

I think I am down to the magnaflows or flowmasters.

how do these compare to the flowmasters?

I was leaning towards the "moderate" not "agressive" option for either of these.

it does sound sweet in your video but it's still hard to tell without hearing in person.

They are very good overall, not real loud but louder than stock. There is a drone at 2000 rpm but not nearly as bad as the Roush.
