After almost a year of beginning, I have almost finished this project.

I removed the sagging pocket and panel, to be replaced with a custom insert made by me.

This is the insert that will take the place of the old pocket.

Did I miss something there it looks like the same pic man./ guess you noticed that also.

Insert looks good. Have you thought of a new door form to add larger speakers? 6.5 inch

This is it on the stang, I would like to add the word Mustang in the center of the new panel. I was thinking about getting one of the kits that is meant for the rear bumper, and just sticking the stickers onto the new panel. Tell me what you guys think.
    Thanks
    Dan

would have looked better if it went all the way to the edge of the door

Looks good. Look better with the matching color like the speaker area.

That looks awesome! I would paint the speaker grille black if I was you though, so it looks like one continuous band of colour. :nice:

Edit: You should post up how you did it, materials, how you attached it, etc....

Awesome! I'm going to do that to my car, especially since I ripped off my driver's side map-pocket.

I could do a little write up on how to make them. I have one more door to do so I can do a complete walk through. I love my digital camera so there will be lots of pics :nice: Thanks for the complements, I think I will try to paint the speaker grill. I am just a little short on cash, but when I get some money I can finish.

i think they look great. i agree with the others that the speaker grill would look better if it matched and also if it went all the way to the end of the door.

Are you keeping up with the production date, where they will be sold, and what prices?

    mine.
I built this out of 1/2 inch MDF ( wood for the few that don't know) and some fiberglass work.
