DP to wastegate housing connection

    I am having a friend of mine who works at an exhaust shop make me a 3 in DP, but the question is, how does it connect to the wastegate housing on a T3? I measured the inner diameter of the hole on the housing and it is almost 2 1/4". Is there a speacial flange gasket that needs to be used or something? It just doesnt seem like it will make a good connection. Thanks guys...

    Don't you have your old one? It connects the exact same way with the exact same flange. There is no gasket.

    I think they just cut a 1-2 " pice of 2 1/5' ID pipe and neck one end up to 3" ID and the other end thats 2.5" just weld the crap out of it to fit the 2 1/4" part on the waste gate. Once its got the 3" started its down hill from there. That is just my guess :shrug:
