OK, I’ll ask the idiot question of the day... I just got my 07GT and haven’t had a lot of time to go over it. What kind of clutch do we have? The book says something about brake/clutch fluid... This kind of makes me think we have a hydraulic clutch. Am I Wrong? Taken from Page 238 of the 2007 Mustang Owners Manual: “BRAKE/CLUTCH FLUID Brake and clutch systems are supplied from the same reservoir. The fluid level will drop slowly as the brakes wear, and will rise when the brake components are replaced. Fluid levels between the “MIN” and “MAX” lines are within the normal operating range; there is no need to add fluid. If the fluid levels are outside of the normal operating range the performance of the system could be compromised; seek service from your authorized dealer immediately.“ -Jason
no such thing as adumb question hydraulic clutch...yes there ya go you learned a fun fact for the day
I thought it felt different than my 03... Are there any adjustments that can be made to a hydraulic clutch? -Jason
none that i know of off the top of my head... its not like the old cable clutches with the aftermarket adjustable quadrant.
I did not think so. It suprised me to see a hydraulic clutch on the 05-07's. I so far am not fond of the hydraulic... but whatever i guess right? hehe Thanks for the info Mike! -Jason
