Dyno tune in S.D.

    Ok, an update.
    Not that anyone needs one but I am alway's willing to point out when I do something lame.

    I had pulled a couple of my plugs before to see what was going on (the two easiest ones to get to of course) and they looked ok.

    Well I decided to go down a range to two colder then stock (Autolite 23's insted of 24's).
    Three of them were fouled pretty bad and three others had some real worn looking electrodes (the other 6 I didn't check).

    I threw those babies in and took it out on my dyno (the freeway) and was able to rip right through the gears seeing 10 psi of boost and
    NO DETONATION.

    Lesson learned, there is a reason the old school guy's always pull the plugs when tuning.

    Bill, check my prior post, I recommended that earlier!!

    Well, heck, put in Pierre's distributor anyway and see if you can make it ping again! :rlaugh:
