Early Build '67 or Late...???

When was the transition point between early and late builds in '67?

I've been doing a lot of parts shopping lately and it seams to come up often. My '67 is date code 19k = Oct 19 1966, I assume it's early???

using modern standards, thats about 2 1/2 months into the model year, plants usually shut down in july for changeover. i would figure thats a ballpark for your 67.

You are correct, that would be an early build. Mine was November 19th, and everything I purchase has been early build.

What changed on the "late" built '67s? Is there anything major I need to look for when buying suspension, brake parts and steering (more specifically rack & pinion kits) for an early car?
