ECTED gets installed tomorrow !!! Installed *pic*

Well tomorrow is the big day finally get my 3.73's in and my ECTED locker. I ran the wiring for the switch tonight so it should be just like a locker install for the shop. Also putting in 31 spline superior axles.

Hope nothing drastic goes wrong. I will post pics tomorrow of the install..

Well the install took 8hrs. The main problem was getting it shimmed correctly and my superior axles are longer than stock so we had to space my calipers out about 3/16 of an inch..any one else run into this??? The pic doesn't show much just the two wires exiting out of the cover and I ran them along the axles up into the car and placed the switch on the console I will take pics of that as soon as my little modding is done..hopefully it turns out. The good news is the guy who did the install is a huge ford enthusiast, also an engine builder. So I can finally get this 393 project on the run. The ected is very quiet and when you engage it you can't even tell.. No chatter. Don't be shy about buying one of these and installing it.. Everything is just like a regular locker except it has two wires coming off it. The switch wiring is very straight forward, ign source and ground and the two wires from the ected. very simple. if anyone has any other questions let me know.. I'm going to the track this wkend to see what it can do up here in boise, id... i'm going to miss running in the south were the air is awesome.

    thanks guys

I have seen the Supior axles to be too long. We ground down the end to make it fit.
Congrats on the install & finding a engine builder.
