Electric trunk/hatch release

Some time ago I came across a pic of an electric trunk release that someone on the .ORG site found in a Mustang II. It looks like a standard Ford trunk release, so I wonder if it came from a Granada or something. Following are pics of the latch found in a '76 CBII.

A repop of a similar latch is back on the market, so I was considering getting one to play with.

Or maybe I should just get my Ghia running first...

And now the new one...found at The Paddock (www.paddockparts.com)...its about $99. It uses the old style release handle as an electric switch to open the latch.
