1998 cobra svt my check engine came on with the p1516 code can soem one tell me what is wrong with the car ?

You will need to pull the intake in order to access the two IMRCs. They get gummed up after awhile, causing power loss and CELs like yours. Use the search feature and you should be able to find a more specific writeup on how it's done. An easy weekend project if you have any kind of mechanical skills and some tools.
