engine damage

    what damage can thrown main or rod bearings do to the block if driven. i have good oil pressure but it is knocking like crazy. i need to know if my main caps will get beat up. i am getting a new crank already

    well it was barely doing it when at high rpms but today got worse. so i turned around goin less than 30 in 5th gear on the shoulder.only about 5 miles or less
    it is parked now

    i thu a rod bearing like 3 months ago. your basicly screwed you ether have to rebuild your motor get a new one or get a remaufactured one. i when with the remaufactured one i got it for 550, 700 with shipping off of ebay. wearesurplusautos is there id on ebay good ppl check them out they might have a engine for ya

    i got one out of a 2000 model for 500 dollars 2 days ago. and i am now finally getting the motor out. it is very hard to work on these things
