Finally came back and checked my posts. It looks like the All Ford Weekend is the 27th, 28th, and 29th. Thanks
Sept. 22-23-24, 2006. i went and its getting worse, if looking to buy parts, I mean they perfume vendors in the swap meet now, WTF!!!!!!!!!!!!! It seems every year, It gets worse and worse, more and more-Flea market style crap, $1 stands. it should be strictly car stuff and thats it. but i did get to pick up a nice set of 3 3/4 tall polished aluminum ford motorsports valve covers for $25. Couldnt find a lower cobra EFI manifold for balls though. i guess-if you want a real swap meet you have to goto carlisle....... nveer been, but wanting to go. Later Ant
I was also at the swap meet this past weekend. There weren't many cars out there on saturday mostly because of the on/off rain. But nonetheless there were a lot of people walking around buying a selling some good stuff and a bunch of junk. I picked up a set of 98 cobra wheels and my brother in law got a HO upper and lower for 40 bucks(TB, fuel rail, EGR valve included) for his 5.0 into jeep project. You can still find some great stuff though people bring some unrelated merchandise its always great to go and check everything out especially if you know exaclty what you are looking for.
I can tell you this- About 10-15 years ago-That swap meet was insane, really good. Compared to today, horrible. And i seen that HO upper and lower that day,, hahahahah It was in a milk crate right? or some mustang seller from PA had it.... it seemed if you had a carb set up-You were in the money, if not-You werent! Ant
I agree, i gave up on getting parts there. Mostly venders selling stuff we can get cheaper on the internet.
Yep the HO upper and lower was in a milk crate. Too bad I wasn't into cars then. 10 years ago I was only 14. oh well.
I will be there for Fords @ Etown... If all goes right Ill be driving a black 86 notch in the low 12s, maybe eek an 11.99 out of it!
Funny thing about the swap meet now- Some vendors (CJ PONY) actually have the balls to charge you full price and tax to boot. i wanna say-Dude, Your @ a swap meet, hellooooooooooooo-Hence good deals, Not a price that i can get on the internet! But have to give a thumbs up to CERVINI's, there actually lower there prices @ the meet and dont charge tax and they are a NJ resident company. if anyhting-CJ PONY being they are from PA shouldnt be charging tax. its like a joke thiougH! I couldnt believe that i seen perfume stands, and more $1 stands than a dayummmmmmmmmmmmmm Dollar store with nothing but JUNK! And only 1 food concession stand open on friday with a line all the way tot he bathroom, Back in the day, non eof the his hit happend during that swap meet! hahahaaa
