Which is absolutely unheard of around here anyway. I ran it earlier today with 21psi and 14* timing. Just now I ran it with 14psi, 14* timing and a 50shot. I've heard that 1psi is roughly 7hp, which is why I went with about 14psi. I did it to see how close it would be. On both runs I rolled it up to 3k in 3rd and stomped it. On motor(is that correct) it pulled really hard and seemed to pull harder than the run that I went 8.9. Felt like .5-.75 seconds before it was full boost.
Then when I sprayed it, again I rolled to 3k in 3nd and stomped it. In less than .25 of a second I had both tires spinning and went a little ways. Maybe about 1.5 seconds. Its never done that when its dry. So I have the potential to make some decent power and run good times. Now I'll have to buy another set of slicks and swap rears. :nice:

22 psi and a 75 shot is what I've been running in the LX since I finished it.

It's fun running about 55 mph and stomping it and going sideways. :D

    turbo lag? what's that?

When I say around here I mean, Luray. This is the internet anything is possible. How much timing do you run at that level?

The guy who "knows his stuff" about nitrous said on N/A carb cars it feels like that 4brl kicking in. It must be a little different becaseu as you said it seems to hit really hard even at low power levels.

oh, I thought you meant our little stangnet utopia. :p

I run a straight 10 degree's and keep inching up boost, still not found the top. However, I have a MSD retard switch ran in series w/ the nitrous that uses the little plug in's, (0, 1, 2, 3, 4 degree's) - and when the nitrous is going it pulls some timing. I'm gonna see if I can get away w/ the 2 degree chip next time I refill the bottle. W/ a 50 shot I didn't have to retard it at all, but it did a touch pre-det when I upped to the 75 w/ the boost that high so I put in the 4 degree chip - that's a bit to much. Also in series is a MSD on/off switch so I can go to WOT right off the line if I wanted and the MSD won't kick on until 3k and kicks off at 6k. W/ the LX I don't ever really stomp it in 1st or 2nd as it will just spin so the nitrous is really just to pack the extra wallup in 3rd and 4th.

I've not run it at the track yet as you know, but the best place to nail it is the onramp to the freeway (straight & wide). I don't know how fast I'm going w/ my 85 mph speedo, but the needle is pegged against the tripmeter button the majority of the ramp. :D

oh wow that may be out of the budget for right now. I was just going to use my 6AL box and run a 2-step and just not push the pedal to the floor.

I wound the 351w car out once and only once as far as I dared to go with it. Also has the 85 speedo and was geared 3.55. It felt like it took forever for the speedo to come back down to the numbers:p
