Yeah, but the small hard drive is not enough space for me. I have every single cd on my 40 gig ipod. I see those run for like $249 when the 40 gig ones run about $100 more. But they are still pretty kewl.
Yeah, i have about 14 gb of music on my hd that i have downloaded not including all my cd's. I am thinking of getting a 5gb but if I do that, why not just spend the extra 50 bucks and get the 20gb and always having it full.
I actually run the 20mg in my Durango w/ a neo-ion adapter and a pro-clips bracket. True, its expensive but very worth it. The neo-ion has allowed me to retain all my stock steering wheel controls and use them in conjunction with my iPod.
I can't imagine needing to have that many songs at any time. All the music I would ever need at once would fit on something way smaller than an ipod. I got myself a Sony MD player to use instead since it'll hold 5 hours a disc and those are like $2 a piece. Plenty of space for me and it cost $100.
That's the thing.... you don't need a mustang and you don't need music ..... it's a luxury. If you only buy things because you need them then you're definately in the wrong hobby. iPod is some of the best money I ever spent and I am not a "gadget person." Nor do I feel the need to buy all sorts of random stuff. However, never having to fumble with any cds, simply hook it into my car, and then take it into the gym (or work etc) is great. Makes my day go a lot better. Whatever I want hear is just a click away without searching for MDs or CDs etc.
