If nothing else breaks I am going to purchase magnaflow 15815 kit for my 65. In the future I am planning on installing an AOD. Are they any issues with the magnaflow kit and the AOD? I really do not want to reinstall my exhaust.

I don't know about the Magnaflow kit, but I had to modify the H-pipe that came with my Flowmaster kit to make it wider to clear the AOD.

mine works. header selection is critical for clearing the pan of an aod and also the kit is designed for long tubes that dump parallel to the car floor. Shorties, mid length and long headers that don't point straight towards the back require some bending and/or additional piping to connect. I am happy with my magnaflow system.

I have magnaflow(x) system with AOD (JBA crossmember) and FPA long tube headers. It's tight, especially around u-joint area but works fine. A good exhaust shop will be able to handle it.

Well if it helps, I work for MagnaFlow and before the kit was released, it was test fit on my previous car which was a 66 with an AOD-

I just got mine for my 67 from a seller on e-bay for $390.00 shipped. Here is a link to what I got Magnaflow System It is arriving today so I haven't seen it yet.
I see that he has the 65's listed at $433 or best offer. you could see if they take less? I didn't have much luck with it though.
