I don't think drive-by's are the way to make your mustang sound good. :D

If you want a growling beast either

    a) Cut the exhaust just before the cats, and run open headers

    b) Get a GT

    c) Go to a shop that does this work and talk to them. Popular muffler include Flowmaster 40's and Mac flowpaths.

Mac Longtube headers, mac h-pipe; no cat's if you don't have emissions testing, cats if you do, magnaflow stainless magnapack catback system, and a mil eliminator if you have no cats. Your car will sound like a beast. Make sure you get the magnapack though, cause thats what will be the nicest and loudest. The Magnaflow system is $330 if you buy it from partshopper here on the site, and put in the coupon code, the mil eliminator is $30 if you can solder, the headers are $230, and the h-pipe is $150 without cats.

What did you end up doing for your sound? I bought my '04 last May and changing the sound is what I want to do first.
