whats u guys and laddies well ive had the 40s. flows but i got tired of them... and,,,, i want to get rid of them..... i want to get an exhaust thats going to make me sound like a cobra...aaaawwwww cobra... well i know ill never sound like cobra... but as close an i can get... well anything will help thanks guys stang net rulezzzzzzz
I'm guessing you're talking about the 4v Cobras. I know how you feel because I've thought the same thing. lol It's just not going to happen. Definitely get some tailpipes. That will give you a cleaner note. Having the x-pipe helps.

I have the same dilema... I run LTs, off road X and Spintechs and it actually doesnt do a bad job, sounds unique and raspy. I will cure it though one day!
mac exhaust a lot of cobras run mac/ but your still never going to sound like a cobra just not going to happen

A 5.0 is never gonna sound like a 4V Cobra, or any 4v for tht matter....IMO, I love how 5.0's sound.... Im used to having a 4V & just got my 1st 5.0 last week & I love the sound as much as I love my 4V. They just sound different from each other, but both sound equally good....

Macs with an X and tailpipes sound really good (gotta have tailpipes with Macs...sound like ass dumped IMO). I dunno...i don't really mean i want it to sound like a Ferrari....i just want it to have a deep burble down low and scream really clean and crisp up top without sounding like glasspacks or open headers.

Will sound good but NOTHING like a Cobra. A Magnaflow CB sounds pretty good and more 4.6ish. I went with the Spintechs and they get real raspy in the midrange and pretty loud up top.

I would like to dispose of them and acquire an exhaust that mimics the sound of the 4 valve cobras....yes cobras, although I do realize I will never duplicate the same exhaust note I would like to resemble it....I do appreciate any guidance stangnet is unparalleled!!!!
macs will sound good. x-pipe will make it sound raspier than an h-pipe. This might help too -->click here
A Bassani X, & regular Magnaflow catback might sound 4.6-ish!!! there really is no way to make a 5.0 sound like a 4.6 & vice versa...Sorry i dont have any WOT clips...
