I just went to the gas station and i have developed a pretty good relationship with the guy who owns the station(he has an 03' Mach I). Aske him if they were just screwing with people and going to lower prices tomorrow after everyone sat in line tonite. He said that he already has determined that at close, the prices are going up 30 - 35 cents tonite . We don't do that well on gas so go get the juice tonite and save some money. Hope everyone a safe next few days. :flag:

AAA is warning to not do exactly what you are talking about. Everyone rushing to the pumps creates panic, leads to shortages and causes prices to go up.
I'd love to know how someone can get 30 MPG IN TOWN.

I'm not making up what AAA has said. The hurricane also has not yet hit and gas is already up about 20 cents here and people are buying it like crazy. I saw a pickup almost run over people trying to get in line and that's in Kentucky, no where near the hurricane.

Yeah Im with stanmckinney on that, if everyone panics and tops off their tanks thats going to create a shortage and prices will go up even more. I will get gas when I run low, no need to panic. Its not going to go up forever, it already started to come down, and sure it may go up a little because of rita, but it will go back down in due time.

i'm not saying to panic! What i am saying is if you need some juice go and get it tonite rather than procrastinate for tomorrow. :spot: Panic leads to chaos and people start getting hurt then so take your time and let the as**oles out there skip in line if thats what they feel they have to do but lets all be better than that. say a prayer for louisiana.
