Went to dynospeed racing last wed... and got my car custom dynotuned which is night and day guys if you have the money get it done!! anyway thought i would share my numbers with ya i made 305rwhp and 328rwtq. the mods are light if you ask me a air raid cai and pypes offroad h and flowmasters with an sctxcal 2 here is a you tube link as well!!! YouTube - SVTOA-Memphis Preston's 05 Mustang GT on the Dyno @ DynoSpeed Racing!
Very good numbers for those mods... just a little more track time and you'll be in mid 12's with those numbers for sure.
before heads/cams I dyno'd 308hp/320tq: those are peak #'s not under curve and I ran 12.60 at 110mph all day in Houston and Evadale Tx. in July. YouTube - SRT8 vs 2005 Mustang GT YouTube - 2005 Mustang GT 12.61 YouTube - Houston4 I gained 82hp at 6000rpm w/ heads/cams/inj Dyno's are tuning tools; all are different.
Those are real nice numbers. Funny how much extra you have to spend to get the advertised horsepower out of these cars .
i know right?? but im pretty much a walking good deal i didn't pay anywhere near retail for any of my set up so i get by!! so far i have an air raid cai with tb spacer, offroad h, flowmasters, an xcal 2 with 3 custom dyno tunes, a hurst sts and some nitto drag radials.. all for around $850 think that stuff retails for about $2300 so im ok with that
Dynospeed racing in memphis tn from joe and john got a number and everything if you want it don't know what your location is normally if you have sct stuff his custom tunes with dyno pulls are around $300 lol and i get a forum discount at svtoa-memphis so it was way cheaper than that..
what kinda numbers you think id be looking at with mods in sig? going to have mine done sometime next month hopefully, tryna get a roundabout number to hope for
"305rwhp and 328rwtq" Very nice indeed. Currently I make 286rwhp and am planning on UDPs and a dyno tune this spring.
blackedout with a good tuner your lookin at about 310rwhp and 330 rwtq thats with a good tuner and in my neck of the woods im not sure what your altitude and what not is and those numbers are with a custom tune not mail order... like you sit your probably at 290ish?? its all in the tune man and i hate to sound cocky but i have the best.. i made descent numbers and my air fuel was perfect!!
don't know what the flywheel number is i would guess 15 percent more?? i guess thats what the tranny and drive line takes away?
You're probably around 340 at the flywheel, which I say is pretty cool for a 281 cu. in. displacement.
