    I ran a 14.2 @ 100. My friend Alex recently ran a 14.0 @ 99 in his bone stock 97.

    13.9 - 14.4 is normal stock 1/4 mile times for a 96-98.

Sounds like you are getting a great deal. I bought my 1999 SVT Cobra two years ago with 15,000 miles for $22,000. I probably over paid for mine but it now only had 20,000 miles and is in perfect condition. My old stang was a 1989 with an exhaust and a Kenne Bell supercharger. There is no comparing that car and my SVT. The power of my old one was unreal off the line. I do miss that power. These SVT's dont seem to go off the line and need to build up the RPM to get it going. I am waiting for KB to realease the supercharger for my Cobra then this car will scream.

Best of luck with your SVT.
