I suspect I'm not the only person whose driver's seatbelt tangles up on a weekly basis. From what I've seen, it usually seems that the belt gets turned and snagged in the rectangular bracket that anchors to the ceiling. Has anyone found a way to keep this from getting snagged up there?
Mine's always done it. I suspect it's the angle in which we put the seatbelt on, or take it off that causes it.
It seems like the belt usually binds in that bracket, at lest in my case. I wonder if more recent stangs have solved this problem with a different bracket? I haven't been in a newer stang in some time, so I don't know how they compare in terms of seatbelt routing. I also see that the bracket that is such a thorn in my side is (at least through one reseller) sold with the seat belt assembly: http://www.latemodelrestoration.com/iwwida.pvx?;item?item_no=LRS-61109D 1&comp=LRS
