I wanted to know if there was a difference between the bolts that hold the flexplate and flywheel. Converting to manual trans so i was wondering if i need to buy new bolts for a flywheel or will my old flexplate ones work?

Yes, the flywheel is thicker so it requires longer bolts. ARP makes a set that is not a bad price.

whatever you do dont order them from rockauto. I ordered from there once b/c they were the cheapest by a few dollars and I waited close to a month to get my bolts. Order from LRS or SUmmit and you will have them in a couple of days.

get arp bolts. Flywheel bolts are longer than flexplate bolts.
