    Anyone know the best interest rate Ford credit is giving on the Mustang.

    Here in canada they offered me 4.9 percent for 3 years, 5,9 for 4 years and 6.9 for 5 years.

    Yep, and then the dealer adds % points on for themselves. It sucks that you can't work with Ford Credit DIRECTLY, instead you have to play stupid games. I will not use Ford Credit because of this.

    Yes, if you can use your own bank or credit union you'll almost always do better - unless there's a great promotional rate through Ford. Unfortunately, there are no promotional rates on the Mustang right now, so you're probably best off to arrange your own financing - the dealer will just try to make money on this part of the deal too...

    Yeah, like I said above, I think I ended up getting a 5.5% rate for 5 years, which is really really good.

    If your dealer is doing that it is time to find a new dealer. My saleman will search Ford Credit and local banks for the best rate. He usually does as good if not better than my credit union.

    Ford Credit's best rate for 60 mo was 6.9%. I went elsewhere for well under 6%.
