Fords 800# says Clean & unscheduled

Ok i guess we are all ordering the Stang Gts early so i am sure we will see them by Oct?
I am new to this site and hope i will learn a bit from yea all.
Ordered a 2006 stang Gt and got a Dora on 7/07/05
Called to 800# and got a C/U,thought i would get that because the order is so new.
My Dealer says i am the only one Ordering a 2006 Stang Gt so he gave me a Prioritry#10 and it says #10 on my Dora too.
He is not a small dealer but maybe a medium size dealer.
The girl that puts the orders into fords systems on new orders says i will have a VIN# from them in 2 weeks.I will say maybe a bit longer from what i am reading?Dealer said i will be the first to get a stang since i am the only one.
Hope to have the Stang Gt by Oct or Nov and maybe if i get lucky Sept..
Got the X-Plan from them so i hope i am doing ok and the dealer seems great....Johnny

I am glad that the dealer gave me X-plan.....I really don't mind waiting a bit if i can save $1000-$2000 on this car.Hope to get Vin# soon so the dealer tells me lol.Johnny

I spoke with my dealer last week, and he said he had a build date of aug 11th, but when I call the automated system it still says C/U. I'm hoping for the dealers date. I just wish I would have gone with the 18in upgrade, now since it is being reported that the Polished Bullits are the first to come out, and the Fanblades are the later option. (found that info on TMS)

Not saying you're wrong, but where on TMS did you see that? The previous rumormill was that the fanblades would be out before the bullitts.

P.S. I would believe the Robot Lady over the deler any day.

What is the 800#? i know what it is for but dont know the actual number? I wanna check mine.

TMS is The Mustang Source if im not mistaken. Nevermind about the number finally found it after 45min of searching past threads.

What exactly is a Dora? I orderd my 06 GT on 7/1 and I haven't gotten a priority number, Dora, VIN, anything. And what is this robot lady people keep refering to?

DORA means Dealer order reciept aknowledgemnt.
Did you get a VOC (Vehicle order conformation) when you placed your order? If so you will see on the sheet a dealer # (Mine started with a F) the body type (Mustang is T82) and finall order #. This you will have to get from the dealer. I have still not received my Dora, but according to the information I got from the dealer, I am in the system as Clean/unscheduled.
Get this information and start harrasing the robot lady.

You are screwed if you have no papers.
If you gave the dealer a deposit and its been a week i would walk (better yet run) to the dealer and tell him you want a copy of the Dora.Then you can start calling the 800# to see whats going on with your Stang..
Dealers put all the info into the computer on thursdays so fri they should have had your Dora.
Better yet wheres your freaking contract that you are getting a car?No contract and no dora i would think the dealer screwed yea......Johnny

Please help with my order..

I ordered my 06 GT on June 25. They gave me a copy ofthe VOC but it has a priority of 35 (Is this Bad??) Should I cancel and try to get a 10?

I also have the pink copy of the Invoice? showing my 500 deposit and current MSRP but I signed that I will pay the 06 MSRP...I talked them down 1000 to get this.

Im not in a big hurry but just want to make sure I get it by the end of year, they estimate by Nov and that would be good.

Is there a website or 800# that I can reach to conferm and is my priority 35 a problem??

1800-962-3746.........If you are paying Sticker i would wait till the deal has a few on the lot.There are dealers near me that are selling stang Gts at sticker.Don't rush take your time ford will make as many as they can because they know they will sell them all.....Think it will be more easy to get a 2006 stang gt at sticker this time around,and if anyone say different they are dealers.Johnny
